India Day: Volunteering at Health Camp by IMANE

Celebrating India Day at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade, Boston

A spectacular show was put up on ‘India Day 2015’ organized by Indian Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) to commemorate India’s Independence Day. The theme of this celebration was ‘Tyauhaaron ka Desh’ or ‘Country of Festivals’. At this event, Indian Medical Association of New England (IMANE) committee organized the annual ‘Free Health Screening’ Booth. Services offered free-of-charge included Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Blood Sugar,Vision, Dental & Depression Screenings.

We extend out sincere gratitude to Dr. Chander Kapasi, Dr. Seema Arora, Dr. Sapna Aggarwal, Dr. Smita Patel and Dr. Subha Thiagarajan for allowing us to volunteer at this wonderful event. We are honored to contribute our bit to supplement the relentless efforts of IMANE and IAGB.
