I-MediSTAR – Innovation in Medical Science, Technology and Research was conceived as a community of budding doctors dedicated to healthcare enhancement through skill development. We mentor a team of student leaders and graduates from all over India. Firstly, we organize clinical skill-based workshops to augment the traditional teaching at medical school. Secondly, our team unites students to support social causes like breast cancer awareness via the annual 5k Run, Pinkathon. Thirdly, we encourage the literary brilliance and artistic caliber of medical students by showcasing their work on I-MediBlog. More recently, we have instituted the first ever innovation awards to recognize the most innovative projects presented in medical conferences around the country, I-MediSTAR Innovation Awards.
